What to have ready when you call

A few details help the provider understand the problem quickly and bring the right equipment on the first visit:

• What you're noticing: noises, droppings, a smell, chewed food, a rodent you saw
• Where: the attic, walls, kitchen, garage, crawl space, shed or barn
• When: what time of day you hear it and when it started
• Your area: your town, neighborhood or nearest road
• Who's home: kids, pets or livestock the plan should account for

Photos of droppings, gaps or damage are helpful too. Don't touch droppings or nests to take them.

What happens on the call
