Who we are
Rodent Pros Huntsville is a free referral service for rodent problems in Huntsville, Texas and the towns around it. We are not a pest control company, and we don't send out our own crews. When you call (936) 280-8706, your call is connected with an independent, experienced local provider who handles rodent work in your area. That provider is the one who inspects your home, explains the plan, gives you a quote and does the work.
We built this site because rodent problems are stressful and the information online is often thin, generic or written for a different part of the country. Huntsville homes have their own mix of pines and pecan trees, brick weep holes, raised foundations, lake houses and rural outbuildings, and the advice should fit that.
How the referral works
You call
Call (936) 280-8706, Monday to Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. There's no charge for using the service.
You're connected
Your call goes to an independent local rodent control provider who serves your part of the Huntsville area.
You decide
The provider asks about the problem, schedules an inspection and explains their quote. You choose whether to hire them.
Any agreement for work is between you and the provider. We don't set their prices, and we don't take payment for their services.
What we focus on
This site covers rodents only: rats, mice, squirrels and other rodents that get into homes and buildings. That focus lets us go deeper on the problems Huntsville homeowners actually call about:
- Roof rats and Norway rats in attics, walls and crawl spaces
- House mice and deer mice in kitchens, garages, sheds and cabins
- Squirrels in attics and the roofline repairs that keep them out
- Sealing entry points, attic cleanup and dead rodent odor
- Rural properties, lake houses and rentals around Walker County
Problems that aren't rodents, like raccoons, opossums, snakes, bats or insects, are outside what this site covers.
How we write our guides
We try to give you information you can act on and check for yourself.
- Sources. Health and safety guidance follows the CDC. Licensing information comes from the Texas Department of Agriculture. Climate figures come from NOAA's climate normals.
- No prices. Every house is different, so we don't publish prices or ranges. Providers quote after they inspect.
- No made-up claims. You won't find invented statistics, made-up customer quotes or promises about results here.
- Safety first. We explain safe cleanup and when to call a professional, and we don't give instructions for using poisons.
Checking the provider you hire
Because providers are independent, it's smart to check a few things before you agree to work. In Texas, structural pest control businesses, including rodent control, are licensed through the Texas Department of Agriculture. Ask for the business license number and look it up on the TDA Structural Pest Control consumer page. Ask about insurance, what the quote includes, and how follow-up visits work.
Which rodent do you think it is? Which entry points will you seal, and with what? How do you protect kids and pets? What happens if activity continues after the work is done?
